Full recipe below:
• 1 cup organic peanuts
• 1/2 cup organic white sesame seeds
• 1 cup organic fried gram (roasted split chana dal)
• 1 small dried copra (or 1/2, if large)
Method:
Chop: Chop the dried copra and jaggery block into small cubes using a sharp knife. This is a great activity for strengthening hand muscles! You can get a little help from your house help if needed.
Roast: Dry roast the organic sesame seeds in a cast iron pan until they turn slightly red. Set them aside. Dry roast the organic peanuts in the same cast iron pan and set them aside.
Peel: Peel the skin off the roasted peanuts and split them into halves.
Mix: Mix the coconut cubes, jaggery cubes, roasted peanuts, sesame seeds, and roasted chana dal together.
